Our Story Through the Lens
We are a Sri Lankan couple, currently based in Nairobi, Kenya who are passionately capturing and presenting the beauty of the wilderness through cinematic storytelling. We have created our Youtube channel to showcase and share our adventures in the wild, whereas we encourage our audience to protect nature, cherish the beauty of it and enjoy every second spent in the wilderness as that’s where we all could truly disconnect from our busy lives and connect to tranquillity and peace.
We started our journey as wildlife enthusiasts back in Sri Lanka in 2017 with a few of our closest friends. With their influence and encouragement, our passion towards wildlife photography grew by the day and each trip to one of the national parks in Sri Lanka, reassured that we would not regret getting into wildlife photography and videography. From there onwards, we never looked back or hesitated as our freetime hobby became a lifetime passion for both of us.
The fortunate opportunity to live and work in Kenya within our career progression in 2023 was indeed a blessing and it came at a time where we embraced change with open arms due to social and financial challenges in Sri Lanka. With the blessings we were showered upon, we started to scale up our photography and videography skillset over the years while making the most out of the mesmerising flora and fauna mother nature had to offer in the African wilderness.
From world famous iconic national parks to hidden conservation efforts in the far corners of Kenya, we explored and documented the heart of the wild — raw, real, and responsible. Every second spent in the vast savannas of Masai Mara, the dusty plains of Amboseli or cold highlands of Mt. Kenya made us realise how many untold stories of African wilderness are there for us to uncover, explore and bring out in an immersive manner through our lenses.
Our mission is to inspire people to fall in love with nature, travel consciously, and celebrate the magic of the wilderness — starting in Africa and Sri Lanka, with a dream to tell stories from wild places around the world.
